I’ve just updated the contributor statistics for the whole year 2020.

As maps.me has hit the news again, this time in a more negative way, I thought it might interesting to give the influence of the app on new contributors another look.

As can be seen from the data the importance of maps.me as a source of new editors has continued to decrease since we visited the subject the last time. Further noteworthy is that the growth of active contributors on an annual base has recovered from the dip in 2019 and is looking positive again:
