MapDust's interface is so slow and there are so many invalid bugs that it's worse than useless... Lots of noise and very little signal.

The speed of Mapdust's web interface is why I suggested using the GeoRSS. It's much faster. Likewise, so is using the Mapdust plugin for JOSM (use it in offline mode, then switch it back to online when you upload to dump all your offline contributions back to Mapdust). Mapdust is the preferred bug tracker for MapQuest and Skobbler, probably the two most widely used data consumers for OSM at this point, so it's the best place we can get feedback from those outside the core community that are actually using our work.

I agree to both opinions: Yes, there are lots and lots of useless/unclear/not reproducable bugs. And yes, it's actually still better than nothing. :)

I'm trying to keep my surroundings as clear as possible.

One thing that would really help: If mapdust-users could be contacted via email, then some things could be clarified without actually having to go out and check the situation... :-\
