Acara Tiup Lilin

Tanggal 9 Agustus adalah hari ulang tahun OpenStreetMap. Kali ini para editor muda dari Youth Mapper Bandung ikut meramaikan ulang tahun OSM dengan acara potong kue dan bincang-bincang seputar pemetaan OpenStreetMap. Acara ini berlangsung hari Minggu, tanggal 11 Agustus yang lalu berlokasi di halaman depan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.

Blow the Candle

August 9th is the anniversary of OpenStreetMap. This time, the young editors from UPI Youth Mapper are celebrating the OSM Anniversary with a cake and blow the candle, continued by chit-chat around OpenStreetMap thingy. This event was held at the park in front of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.

Pelatihan Dasar ID Editor

Sebagai follow up peringatan ulang tahun ini, 2 minggu berikutnya kami melanjutkan dengan training dasar dan pengenalan ID Editor kepada para editor pemula. Training ID Editor sudah berhasil diselenggarakan hari Minggu lalu, 25 Agustus menggunakan jalur daring Zoom Meeting. Tercatat 23 peserta yang mengikuti training dan kita lanjutkan dengan Mini Mapathon dengan tantangan sederhana sebagai latihan untuk para editor baru ini. Setelah berlangsung Mini Mapathon selama 1 minggu, kami menentukan 3 pemenang berdasarkan jumlah kontribusi terbanyak dan terbaik dari aspek kualitas editing. Tentu saja semua pemenang mendapatkan hadiah dan kenang-kenangan dari Kaart sebagai sponsor acara.

ID editor introduction class

As follow up to this OSM Anniversary event, we gave training and introduction to OpenStreetMap using ID Editor to these new youth editors. This training was conducted through online webinar. There were 23 trainees attending the webinar and we followed this up by doing a challenge in Mini Mapathon. This challenge is a very basic to introduce the new mappers how to contribute to OpenStreetMap and build their confidence to contribute more in the future. After running this Mini Mapathon for 1 week, we decided to choose 3 participant as winners. These winners chosen according to their quality and quantity of edits in OpenStreetMap. Of course each winner got the prizes from Kaart as the sponsor of this event.
