That import was reverted four years ago and was only present for two days, so I don't think it's what you're remembering.
I should have been more specific. These are the changesets where someone deleted address interpolation because they thought they were "arbitrary lines"

I believe he might have also removed address interpolation lines in some of his other changesets

I have reverted all the deletions of address nodes and interpolations deleted by this user as well as fixing up the building geometry. There was only a couple of conflics when reverting, so there shouldn't be any errors but there are some problems with the originally added addresses (duplicates, roads with odd interpolation on both sides) but this looks similar to other areas nearby that have not been tidied up since.
